1-Year Warranty Policy & Terms and Conditions for Handmade Jewelry

 

Warranty Coverage

 

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on all handmade jewelry purchased from our store. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal wear and tear for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

What is Covered

- Defects in Craftsmanship: If there are any issues with the construction or design of the jewelry, such as:

  - Broken or snapped earring posts.

  - Loose stones, faulty clasps, or faulty links.

  - General tear in the jewelry (e.g., a tear in a bracelet chain or pendant).

These will be repaired or replaced.

- Material Defects: If there is a problem with the materials used in the jewelry, such as tarnishing or discoloration due to a manufacturing issue, we will repair or replace the item.

 

What is Not Covered

- Damage from Misuse: Damage caused by improper handling, dropping, or accidents (e.g., bending, scratching, or chipping the jewelry) is not covered.

- Normal Wear and Tear: Natural wear due to daily use, such as slight tarnishing, fading of finishes, or minor scratches, is not covered.

- Loss or Theft: Jewelry that is lost, stolen, or misplaced is not covered under this warranty.

- Changes in Appearance: Over time, the appearance of certain materials may naturally change due to environmental exposure (e.g., tarnishing of silver or gold-plated items). These changes are not considered defects.

- Personalized Items: Any jewelry that has been altered, engraved, or customized after purchase is not eligible for return or warranty.

Repair After 1-Year Warranty

After the 1-year warranty period, we are still happy to assist with repairs. A $20 repair fee will apply for any repairs needed. This fee covers labor, materials, and return shipping.

Warranty Claim Process

 

1. Contact Us: To make a warranty claim, please contact us at peacefulbeadsshop@gmail.com with your proof of purchase (receipt or order number).

2. Inspection: Our team will inspect the jewelry to determine if the issue is covered under the warranty. In some cases, we may request additional information or photos.

3. Repair or Replacement: If the jewelry is found to be defective under our warranty, we will offer the following options:

   - Repair: We will repair the jewelry at no cost to you if the issue is within the 1-year warranty period.

   - Replacement: If the item cannot be repaired, we will offer a replacement or store credit equivalent to the purchase price.

4. After 1 Year: For repairs requested after the 1-year warranty period, a $20 repair fee will apply.

5. Shipping: You will be responsible for shipping the item back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe return. We will cover the return shipping costs if the claim is approved during the warranty period.

 

Exclusions

This warranty does not extend to any damage or defects resulting from the following:

- Abuse, neglect, or mishandling.

- Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, or lotions.

- Wear that occurs due to prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, or humidity.

- Items that have been modified, resized, or altered by anyone other than our team.

- Ownership: By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that the handmade jewelry is a unique piece crafted with care and attention to detail.

- Personal Use Only: Our jewelry is intended for personal use only and should not be resold or distributed without permission.

- Return Policy: If you are not satisfied with your jewelry for reasons other than defects, we accept returns or exchanges within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original condition and packaging.

- Privacy: We respect your privacy and will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent. Your data will only be used for processing warranty claims and customer service inquiries.

- Limit of Liability: The liability of our company is limited to the repair or replacement of defective jewelry. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

 

General Terms

- This warranty applies only to purchases made directly from our store or authorized retailers.

- This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

- We reserve the right to amend or update the terms of this warranty at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated on our website or via email.
